Sup Greg, Michael, Marcus and the rest of SB family, it's been a while, but I figured I'd come back and lay out a barter:
If you haven't heard about this blooming Seattle underground scene, I'm here to tell you a bit about it, but in exchance please hook me up with some references to those artists worthy of attention in Atlanta and elsewhere in the South. Of course, I suppose I could simply check out all of the media posted on SB, which I haven't done in a while.
First, you have to peep this Shabazz Palaces video (it takes a bit to kick, but it's raw, live, and just real):

This fella, Ishmael "Butterfly" Butler, aka Cherrywine, put together the Palaces to get things right and hold it down in Seattle. Of course, you probably know him better from Digable Planets! Anyway, he's under the radar and it seems like he prefers to keep it that way, but this stuff, like the rest of the underground movement, needs exposure. I highly recommend the purchase of the group's 2 EPs: one self-titled "Shabazz Palaces" and the other deemed "Of Light."
Other Seattle acts that are worthy of attention: Macklemore, Vitamin D, Common Market, Mad Rad ...In fact, here's a track produced by Jake One (off of his White Van Music LP) that reps Seatown and the unity within (Sir MixaLot opens, lol, and Ishmael closes it):

Anyway, I'm happy to see that SB is still rolling. I realize it's reppin Atlanta, but know it's all about the social movement known as hip-hop. Mad respect to you guys for holding it down like this.
