There are several reasons that you may not have received your account activation email, and most of them have to do with the increasingly aggressive measures that email providers are taking to protect you from SPAM email.
Unfortunately, this sometimes keeps the messages that you actually want from getting through, especially when they are coming from smaller websites who are still building credibility as NON-SPAMMERS (like us).
Please review some of the following tips. If you still can't seem to find your account activation email, please contact us right away so that we can confirm your email address and manually activate your account. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience.
One of the most common issues we run into is that email providers (Hotmail, Yahoo, Gmail, AOL, etc...) automatically direct our mail into your SPAM folders. If you're not seeing the Account Activation email, please be sure to check this folder. Remember that if you use a desktop POP email client (like Outlook, Thunderbird, or Apple Mail), then you may actually have to log onto your email account through a web browser to make sure the email isn't sitting on your online SPAM folder (which would keep it from even getting to your desktop email program's SPAM folder.
Some email providers take longer to process incoming mail from smaller websites to make sure that it isn't spam, so it is not unusual that your account activation email might take up to 30 minutes to arrive.
Sometimes, it might be easiest just to try the process again. But first, make sure that you have added the following address to your list of approved email addresses: "[email protected]" Consult your email service provider for specific instructions on how to do this. This is also a good idea to do even after your account is activated. Odds are that if you didn't receive the activation email, then you won't be able to receive notification emails from us about important activity that occurs on your account.
